About Us
Screen, Inc. was established in 2007 by two moms on a mission. After endless attempts to find a non-greasy facial sunscreen, they decided, "heck, why not concoct our own?" Lori Nauman provided the product development expertise, while Heather Neal brought sales and marketing skills to the table. A marvelous partnership was formed and the sunscreen industry has been given a run for its money.
Albeit a new company, Screen, Inc. is poised to sit at the "Big Kid's Table." Ahead of the curve with approaching FDA guidelines, Screen, Inc.'s products are already in compliance with the upcoming standards on testing and packaging. Even more remarkable is that the Skin Cancer Foundation has bestowed Screen, Inc. with their coveted Seal of Recommendation right out the starting gate.

Lori Nauman – Founder, Owner
As the founder of Screen, Inc. Lori Nauman has more than just developed a sunscreen collection - she vows to change how the world thinks about sun protection and sun damage.
Born in Oakland, CA and raised in nearby Montclair, Lori enjoyed an active urban childhood. At age 20, she opted for a more rustic setting and moved to Lake Tahoe, where she still lives today with her husband of 23 years. Lori has worked as a licensed assistant in dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontia. She then switched professions when her two daughters (now college students) entered middle school, working in the school office and as the librarian. Once her girls entered high school, Lori attained her esthetician license. Ever the multi-tasker, in addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors with Screen, Inc., Lori is employed at both a full-service salon and dermatologist's office.
Beyond work, Lori loves sports. An avid swimmer, skier, tennis player, biker, runner and golfer, she spends a great deal of time outdoors. Lori and her family have tried several typical sunscreens, but the ideal sunscreen has eluded her – until now. Interacting with teenagers, working in the medical field and living an active outdoor lifestyle have inspired Lori to create Screen, Inc.
The products themselves are innovative, but their purpose is even more extraordinary. Lori doesn't worship the sun or the almighty dollar. Instead, she hopes that Screen, Inc. will clarify rumors from reality, swap false for fact and explain the bogus from the bona fide truth. Her message is simple, but significant. "Screen: Make It Your Routine."

Heather Neal, Co-Owner
Having grown up in the resort area of Lake Tahoe, Heather spent most of her childhood playing at the beach or skiing the slopes. The high altitude combined with the sun's reflection off water and snow resulted in several sunburns as a kid. Whether it was naiveté or ignorance, she would scorch herself to get a "healthy" tan. Now as a mother to two young children, Heather Neal, 35, has realized all too late the devastating effects of the sun's harmful rays.
Prior to joining forces with Lori, Heather was the owner of Executive Details, a consulting company that offered marketing, public relations, business writing, concierge and event planning assistance for small businesses, entrepreneurs and busy professionals.
One of Heather's largest clients was Lysakov Art Company, Inc., the publisher for Russian artist Victor Lysakov. Heather has worked with start-up companies since their beginnings and provided services at a high level.
Heather previously worked six years at Thomas Kinkade Company, the publishing house and world headquarters of the acclaimed artist, Thomas Kinkade. There, as the Director of Sales Operations, she managed seven staff members, coordinated sales programs for 28 District Sales Managers, managed a multi-million dollar sales budget, tracked sales trends, prepared presentations and planned quarterly sales meetings.
Heather attained her B.S. degree from California Polytechnic State University, where she majored in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. Her biggest lesson learned so far? Wear Sunscreen!
